Well, if this guy from the London Times has it right, Honda's Insight is going to run everyone into a tree.

Insight? It's rather more, indeed, like bloody Oversight.

"this guy from the London Times" is Jeremy Clarkson, a well known motoring journalist here in the UK. Once you get used to his style, he's rather amusing :)

Google him and watch some videos of him on "Top Gear" on youtube for a flavour...

In general, not much of a fan of leftist politics or ecological considerations ;-)

Cheers & God bless

Now that was a write-up! Too many auto journalists gloss and polish the apple to make the latest and greatest seem like the next best thing to sliced bread. Looking at the specs of the engine, 1.3 4 cylinder torque approx. 87 hmm... why not use the ST engine? Decent fuel economy, great engine, more horses and the torque is about the same. Would you drive a car with an ST engine? I would.

The ST engine would likely get considerably worse mileage pushing 3000+ pounds of car than it does pushing a 700lb bike.
