I saw this on ebay:
http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/15HP-O2-SENSOR-PERFORMANCE-CHIP-HONDA-ST-1300_W0QQitemZ8049577590QQcategoryZ10460QQrdZ1QQcm dZViewItem

(Don't know if that link will work.... looks a bit long!).
Anyway, reading between the terrible spelling and use of english, this little box of tricks looks like it might actually do the same job as the High pressure FPR I've seen sold on this board, just tackling the problem from a different angle.
Any opinions? I can't see it doing much harm except maybe to the catalytic converter?

It's pretty cheap too......... anyone got any warnings before I go and buy one?

I suspect that would increase your throttle harshness and therefore the on/off switch effect rather than do anything to reduce or eliminate it. Just a guess, but from their claims I can't see it doing anything to smooth out throttle response, especially at idle or with the throttle closed.

I for one also wouldn't order from that company... I accept they will take payment by paypal, but they also suggest you can pay by bank transfer or western union. Call me paranoid, but that is one of the tell tale signs of a scammer or eBay fraudster. They may of course be perfectly legitimate, but I wouldn't risk it.

Just my unqualified opinion :D

You might want to check some of the other items that this fellow is selling.

One of them is a spark plug that adds 10% horsepower and reduces fuel consumption by 10% at the same time.

Another is a solution that easily removes moles and warts.

His product claims to send an enrichining signal to the ECU, but we know that the oxygen sensor on the ST1300 already sends a signal to lean out the mixture, and he does not mention any need to bypass that signal. So you gotta wonder.

Moles and warts! :D
I never noticed that. Hehehehe. And the sparkplug in undoubtedly BS too :p:
I just thought that this gizmo went in the oxygen sensor line, probably just a resistor or something, and changed the O2 signal so that the ECU thinks it needs to add more fuel, mimicking the effect of a higher fuel pressure.

Guys, you're right, I'll pass on it.

...........Now what else can I buy for the beaST? :fe1:

If the man makes a good wart remover, reducing fuel consumption by 10% should be a piece of cake.:)

So the ox sensor sends an over lean signal to the computer and the computer gives the motor more fuel. Now the the ox sensor is still sending the computer an over lean signal but the mix is rich so the computer sends more fuel. It sounds like it will creat a loop in the system that will cost you alot of money in gas.
