Just installed the Gorilla 7007 motorycycle alarm. Install went smooth. I put the alarm unit against the ECM, Electronic Control Module, and secured it with the same bungee that wraps the ECM. I only had to remove the seats and the side panel to gain battery access. Wire routing was simple and straight forward. I hooked the fused positive lead to the input terminal to the Fusible Link. The negative terminal I hook directly to the battery. The Antenna wire is loosely ran along the right side frame rail and loosely secured with zip ties. The tilt sensor is mounting with the supplied velcro in the pocket intended for the tool kit, just forward of the ECM. With the seat installed the third alarm tone seems the loudest, and I set the shock sensor to the highest setting. at this setting moving the handle bars or futzing with the tank bag will initiate the 'Warn Away' tone. Several of my liter sport bike friends use this alarm and it come highly recommended. I need to get ready for my daughters wedding, so I didn't have time to take pictures. If someone feels they are needed, I can take some later. I did not install the indicator LED. I have heard, and read many web accounts, that the alarm is most effective when you don't let the bad guy know the bike is alarmed. As has been said in other threads, the alarm really is only good if you are close enough to hear it. Bystanders generally won't take action for someone elses bike. When parking at my apartment, or setting at a rest stop with my dry bag strapped to the seat, the alarm will help me. Also even if bystanders generally won't react to someone else's alarm. I believe that if a bad guy is thinking about grabbing the bike and the alarm goes off, they might just look for an easier target.
