Today I picked up an innovative safety product for my helmet(s), the Helmet Halo. Basically it's a giant, fat rubber band with a neoprene backing and reflective surface. Nice thing is that you don't attatch it permenantly. Seems like a fairly effective thing. And besides adding visibility at night I'm hoping it will help me be more visible in the rain.
Anyone have any experience with this product?

They do show up very well at night. Tail brites are also good for really showing up the rear end of your bike without adding lights.

I have had mine for several years now....Matter of fact..this year it has lost most of it's rubberness..and won't stay on my helmet. Sure wish I had bought several of them way back when...Halo's used to come in colors....now, just Silver. I have had several riders tell me...that when approacing me at night...my Halo is the first thing they see!...I like mine. I'll probably buy a new one and glue parts of the old one on my open face Shoei to help me seen when wearing that helmet too. The Halo is only for full face helmets....no flips or open face.

Got a couple of them earlier this year. I'm sold on them! I think they serve their purpose very well.

Great effective product. Had one on my full face. Now I have a flip front and use retro reflective tape for the same purpose.

I have one on my helmet and my wife's helmet. Great reflectivity.
