ST1100 Swing arm tool part #

Hey all, does anybody know the Honda part number for the swing arm tool used on the ST1100? I see the one that looks right on eBay but, it doesn't mention being the right one for the ST1100 (or even the 1300 for that matter). It does say its for a bunch of other Hondas so I would guess its right but, for $40 I'd rather be sure. If anybody knows a better source for this tool than eBay I'd love to hear it. Thanks,

Well, the truly proper tool would be Honda P/N 07908-4690002, pivor locknut wrench (just confirmed it with the VL Churchill catalogue...)

Its a tubed tool mode of hardened steel thus permitting access for the hex wrench to hold the pivot bolt on its set torque, while torquering the lock nut.
The arm welded to its side has a 1/2" drive for your torque wrench and the correction factor (IIRC x10) embossed.

The Ebay tool is shaped like a normal bolt socket with the 1/2" (or 3/4"?) drive in its centre; so when trying to torque it, you'll always risk turning the pivot as well -> unintended increase of torque on the swing arm bearings...
It appears being milled out of stainless steel, so not as rigid ast the OEM part.
So IMHO its quite usefull for occasional removal, not so much for proper reassembly...

1991-1999 OEM Honda ST1100 service manual lists swing arm lock nut wrench as part number 07908-4690003.
For U.S.A. part number is KS-HBA-08-469.

Weird, '92 issue w/shop manual for ST1100(A)N page 14-9 defenitely gives the *0002 number, Churchill motorcycle special tool catalogue No 2715/3/94 confirms...
Also checked the Addendum for the ABS-II/CBS, issue '96, again the *0002 number...

which says its for CBR, CBX, GL, VTX, CB, etc...and looks like an aftermarket tool

The Churchill catalogue lists at the 07908-4690002 tool following models:

TRX300/350

Comparing the catalogue drawing and the Ebay pic I'd say the second for CBR, CBX, GL, etc... seems to have the proper shape, no clue about the diameter though...

Meanwhile I cross checked with DS and CMS about the tool No: 07908-469-0002 was the original P/N, got superseeded by 07908-469-0003...
