Took off the muffler today when I was replacing the rear tire just for the hell of it and decided to see what is sounded like with no muffler. Man what a different sound and loud as hell but gives me hope of putting aftermarket pipes on it. But I have to hear one in person before I make the purchase way too much money to put on something thats a flop because I really don't want it too loud but I would like to have a more "manly" exhaust note. Anybody have any staintunes or two brothers in the Colorado area that I could swing by and check out how it sounds. Would be appreciated, thanks.

Staintunes has a wave file you can listen to on their website..If I was less lazy I would give you the link.

SteveST1300 has STs on his ST and they sound really great IMHO.

Mabey I'm just a dumbass  but I never could find the sound files for the Pan-European on the Staintune site when I was looking a couple of months back before I bought my bike.

I did however find them on this site, but the recording isn't the best quality to be honest and I'm not sure it gives a good reproduction.

I've got a set of Tunes on my BoxerCup and they are fantastic, soooooperb quality, finish and fit, and sound just nice to my ears with the baffles in, not too loud at all.

I believe that both Staintune and Two Brothers have sound bites on their respective websites so that you can hear what an ST1300 sounds like with their products installed. I know it's not the real thing, but it's fairly close.

Well come on then you two, post the link for the Staintune site wav files for all the dumbasses like me who couldn't find them then. Their sound quality has got to be better than the one I've posted from Pirates site.

Have ridden behind bikes with the 'Tunes, and Two Bros. canz... the Tunes have my vote hands down. Two Bros. sound like a bad race replica rip off IMO. Even the guy who had the Two Bros. didn't like them and sold them very shortly after getting them.

One more vote to Staintunes. I like them a lot. Sounds like Ducaties.

Apart from the sound the fit and finish of the Staintunes is much better IMHO, they mount to the original factory mounts and dont have the big hoseclamp on them. they look much better sound nice and are 1/2 the weight of the stockers.:03biker:

+1 on the Staintunes.

You can hear the difference between stock, Staintunes with and w/o restrictors. (http://www.jackphelps.com/hondastaintune.htm)

Put my tunes on last night so i am now part of the club. had to take the baffles out and go on a 12:30 am run around the neighborhood. man they are sweet. the idle kinda reminds me of an old pickup with straight pipes on it. very unique sound when at speed though, very nice, unique sound.
