Brian,
As mentioned you are welcome to drive up and park your trailer at my place if you want.

OK guys, I've checked it out. We have pillows enough for everyone, two pull out beds for the couples. Guys you will have to put up with air mattresses on the floor in other rooms, as space is real scarce, but I do have an air mattress for all 3 of you along with reasonable separation.

I asked John to bring his sleeping bag, and I have two here (one for Bones, and one for Eddie).

So, there is mattress, pillows and sleeping bags enough for you 3 guys. Couples have made beds. Beyond John bringing his bag, you don't need to bring anything. We will have to deal with one bathroom between us all, but it's easily doable with some co-ordination.

We'll be going to Mc Gillocuddies Thurs. evening to eat supper, somewhere around 8PM and meeting whoever rolls in later at Mc Gillocuddies. I think Todd will need directions there as he's rolling in a bit later, does anyone else?

Breakfast in the morning...there will be cereal, bagels, eggs to make available, coffee, tea, anything else someone needs?

There is also a decent greasy spoon 1/4 mile down the road for those with the yearning for that sort of sit down, order up breakfast food. We won't need a big breakfast, as we will be eating an early-ish, lunch.

Bill and Brian, if you can roll in around 9:30 so we can be organized and rolling out by 10AM.

We'll be riding some near my house in the morning up over Mohonk Mountain, and getting into the Otter for lunch about 11:00 (I have to check with the Otter tomorrow to make sure they are set up for lunch at that time though). We'll head over Minnewaska, past the Ashokan to Cooper Lake, on up past Hunter, past the Schoharie Reservoir, then on up 30 and 145 to Cobleskill. STreets & Trips has us coming in around 5pm then, but it is often a tad optimistic but close.

We'll be doing 170 miles Friday.

I had been hoping to get out of a previous commitment, not gonna happen.
Can't go.
Wish I could, I'll be in Dover at the Nascar race.
I am getting rid of all other friends an commitments so this will never happen again.
Please excuse my absence, what are you all doing weekend after?

Thanks Carl! See you soon. Can you PM me your home phone so I can enter it into my cell for the highly unlikely event Bones and I get hung up on the way over Thursday?... You know how Bones likes to crash ole ladies birthday parties.

Will do Eddie…. Bones go light on the old lady parties.

Brian,
Bummed you can't make it! :(

You'll be missing a nice ride on a wide variety of road types with some good mountain scenery views. The Pepacton is like a track, but then again you get to ride those anyway. :p:

I'll be jammed up for a few months after NESTOC fixing stuff on the house, but the other guys will probably be doing stuff.

I have worked it out so I will get off work at 3PM if I can get Maureen to cooperate we could be on the road by 4. I will work on it. At least the weather for Thursday has no rain in it anymore maybe the rest of the weekend will pan out the same. They called for showers and storms here all weekend it was in the 90's and v ery dry.:03biker:

Eddie, I PMd you the phone numbers.

Due to construction I had to change Friday's route just a little bit near my house. This is the modified file I anyone wants it attached to this post. Youse can probably just run the old one and it will tell you off route in two spots is all.

It's best to have "menu"/options/Guidance/"off Route Recalculation"/"OFF" when you run these routes. Otherwise the damn thing changes the route on the fly and messes it up badly. If you get off route you can always easily find your way back to it by looking at the screen graphic map (rather than having the GPS recalculate it's way back for you, changing the route in other places as it does so).

The former is a tip from Garmin.

If you have Route Recalculation "OFF" and you hear it tell you "off route, recalculating you need to stop the route, shut the unit off, and restart the route. Mine has done that to me 3 odd times so far. Otherwise it works great.

Yes it is STeve, you and John both already have the one posted. The Saturday route remains the same.

I just got off the phone confirming reservations for lunch at the Guilded Otter (also confirmed with TA's place for Saturday).

"UPDATE for BILL" they are not open for lunch at 11:00 am Like the other person told me, the will be ready for us at 11:30AM instead.

This changes our departure time to 10:30AM so Bill you don't need to arrive until 10am.

It gets us up there a bit later than planned, but we should still be fine.

It looks like everyone except for Todd and Michele will roll in about 6-6:30, so we'll go to McGilocuggies around 7-7:30 and meet them there.

:D Great I get to sleep in. I've been working 12hr days the last 2 weeks. I can't seem to get any sleep. By the time I get home at 8:45 I'm shot, the heats not helping any. Well I'll get all packed tonight and be at your place by 10am Friday morning Carl.
