Advice: Start her up and check for leaks BEFORE you button everything back up. Like a goof, I put everything back together and then went for a ride. I guess I did it correct as I have not burst into a fireball of burning gas yet....but be smart (unlike me)

It's a good time to check / sync the throttle bodies as well!!!
...and a good time to ride until you have one bar left on the fuel gauge!

I have hesitation and lurching at 3000~4000 rpm. Could this be the cure I am looking for? It doesn't happen all the time, but enough to frustrate me when it does.

Louis,
Glad you went with the FPR. I've found it has smoothed-out the performance, and I've really seen no impact on fuel economy. I'm sure you'll enjoy it!

Take up the gross slack on your throttle cable as long as you're in there for the FPR, so the adjuster on the handlebar won't run out of travel as the cable ages and slackens.

Oops..I did not take pictures boss. however, The FRP is a small metal device and Dan did major surgery by lifting the tank and all sorts of procedures. Its amazing what can a person can do w. the right tools. I'm somewhat mecahanically challenged and dyslexic and need help w/ STuff sometimes. Will test ride bike over the weekend..

Sorry guys for no photos. Louis had to do some running around and I did not bring my camera. Unlike a STealer, I had work to do, no time for taking photos.:D
Thanks to all that have done this mod in the past, I had a lot of good info before jumping in. No leaks, and I did check the throttle bodies. they were right on. I will take some photos of mine when I do the air filter ,FPR, and throttle bodie sync at 12,000 miles.
