The Bull and Bush - saw this place on BeerNuts on INDH1 last night... muy cool! Heavy on IPA's and bitters. Even have a Triple IPA  - Denver

The following were recommended by a guy I work with who hits Brewpubs on vacation... plans his vacations around brewpubs :p:

Oasis - supposed to be prety good! - Boulder
Wynkoop - Denver
Pints Pub Brewery & Freehouse - Brews and a awesome single malt scotch selection, said he lost count after 100  - Denver

Not an alcoholic... used to brew... haven't had a decent brew in over 2 years

The Fat Tire boys are just up the street in Ft. Collins, well worth the drive.

Have had the New Belgium Brewery stuff... what's available here anyway. I'd like to hit brewpubs... quality... atmosphere... DARTS! :p:

I've been to Wynkoop and it's a nice place. Just beware "The Sampler". When mixed with altitude, we sea level guys get juiced.

Last time I was in the Denver area, I found there are more brewpubs there and in Golden that I could never be able to visit them all.

It's a funny thing. I was in the beer business for a while. ALL the local police prefer Coors Light. The main difference that I notice is that the type of yeast they use produces a high gas content.
Personally I like Stouts and Porters, but that's just me. Taste is really what beers are all about. Everybody has their own preference.

Thanks Paul... I saw the Coopersmith's Pub & Brewery chile brew on BeerNutz the other night, they were very impressed ;)

Have seen the clydesdales here in Houston at the brewery when they used to give good tours :D They would give kids rides on the carriage around the grounds... they are BIG :)

You can also go to Seaworld in San Antonio and see them there too... hit the sample/courtesy house too  The Killarnies(sp?) isn't to shabby when fresh :D

If you folks head up to Mt Evans, I would def suggest a stop at TommyKnockers (http://tommyknocker.com/idahoSprings.html) in Idaho Springs. This brewpub is worth a stop and a sip from the Brewer's Sampler...:capwin:

If you're downtown, then I would suggest Wynkoop (http://www.wynkoop.com/).
