Hello all,
I just installed the Turbo City FPR and it's also Spark Plug replacement time according to the manual. Is there a general consensus about which plug - NGK CR7EH vs CR8EH vs CR9EH is the most appropriate with this new Regulator?
My usual riding is sporty country roads (usually 40 - 65 mph) with occasional highway droning (65 - 75 mph) with the very occasional illegal foray:eek: into the 90 - 100mph range. I am using the stock Air Cleaner and always run 93 Octane.
Any advice would be appreciated.
Thanks, Brian

I just replaced the OEM fitted CREH7 plugs with the irridium equivalents to the CREH8. For the irridium versions, this was the heat range recommended at NGK's site for the ST13. I've been running the TVFPR since 6,200 miles (currently at 22.4K) when the plugs were removed, they had perfect coloration. I don't think using the TCFPR changes the Honda recommendations based on this observation.
NGK - CR8EHIX-9 (NG3797)
Casport - $9.45
Tucker Motorcycle Supply $5.95

Forget about the plugs !Modern spark plugs used with a fuel injected system are good for 30 to 60k! The K+N air filter will do the trick or maybe the one turbo tom has ? The stock one is way to restrictive !!!! A question for you would be are you running stock pipes ??????
