View Full Version : ST- light lavender metallic - Quebec plates?

Saw an ST1300 today on the NY Thruway about 30 miles north of NY City - medium lavender metallic. Looked like factory paint - but it can't be, can it? Quebec plates - are the colors for the ST different in Canada - or was this just an expert repaint? I think the latter...

Oh yeah and the guy was TOWING A TRAILER. ST weenies can be disturbingly like Goldwing weenies : ).

Nope....but if it was from Quebec and was repainted it would have been red. :D

Are you sure it wasn't a 2003 silver? That paint is so striking, rich and deep that it can take on many other hues ;) Also they are so fast that you only see them for a split second.

I've seen 2003's and I'm familar with their paint. It was certainly a color I've never seen. I slowed down to 55mph to ride next to the guy for a while to get a good look at his rig. Givi box, trailer, medium lavender metallic. VERY nice color. Had to be a custom paint job as you point out.

its Burgundy Mist...or Royal Amythest....or somthin cooler than "lavender"!!:D

Red, orange, yellow, green, blue, indigo, violet ... any other name for a colour is just made up by the fashion industry.

Sand?? That's not a colour! It's something one finds at the beach!! :lol:
