There is a dealer in TN that sells Hondas at wholesale cost.
If you search on Cycletrader.com you will see his bikes.
Southernpowesports.
He claims he has new 05 and 06 and his prices are way under what my dealer is asking and of course my dealer only has 06 models.
Has anyone bought their bike from this dealer from out of the state and if you did what was yout expierence?

I am thinking about riding again and have norrowed my search to a ST 1300 or Concours I am trying to spend as little as possible so the KAW was high on my list until I spotted this dealer.

If its Southern Powersports in Chattanooga - I got my 05 :biker: from them last year. They beat my local dealer by $1000 and I had no problems once I got there - it took about 45 min I was loaded and out the door. I paid the internet price of $12,583 for ABS +.5% TN tax (about $40) - later in the year they went down to $12,283

They have great deals, just make sure they have what you want before you go (I called the day before I left to make sure 'my bike' was in stock and prep'd before I left to go get it)

I drove 450 miles to Ashland KY to get my 06 from Ashland Cycle Center www.ashlandcycle.com . They also have a site on Ebay. They almost always have ST's in stock. I paid $11,699.00 for a non-ABS, which beat the heck out of any price that my local dealers were offering. Ashland Cycle even agreed on a tentative trade in value for my old bike based on photos I emailed them. I must admit that I was a little apprehnsive at first, but when I got arrived my purchase went exactly as we agreed on the phone. They even gave me a KY 30 day tag for free, and they charge no KY sales tax for out-of-state buyers. I will definatley make the trip to buy from them again if my local Honda dealers refuse to seriously deal.

Ashland Cycle also sells Concours. They had one in stock a couple of months ago, but I don't know what they were asking for it.

I have to agree with the comments on Ashland Cycle Center. If you are anywhere close to them, I strongly recommend you give them a call. I bought my '06 (ABS) from them in February and it couldn't have gone better. Since I bought mine, the owner of ACC, Rick Keelin, has now started to ride an '06 ST and loves it.

Good Luck,
Drew
