Here are a few photos of my rear Pilot Road after 3,586 miles. 50% back roads; 25% mountain curves...NC...VA; 25% slab

It's hard to tell from just the photos but how much rubber has been used? 1/3, 1/2?

It appears that you're into the TWI's in the centre. Not many miles left in those, IMO.

1/16" to the center treadwear indicator....I'd say about 7/8 of the tread has been used.
Hmmmm.....that's about where I order another set. LOL!!:D Except mine has almost 10k on it.

My first thought as well... I usually start to bald half way around with plenty of depth left in the center. More twisties for you! ;)

I've been able to get ~11000 miles out of the Pilot Roads but it was all interstate. I'm surprised that the difference in roads has that much of an effect but I suppose it makes sense. The rear tire starts at 6 mil. I'm wondering what the tread depth is on yours right now.
