well i didnt want to post anything until my ride was certified but thats where my problem is, the certification, or should i say the verification.
i did a bb1500 in the first week of may and i have herd nothing and none of my witnesses have been contacted, some friends i know did a ss1000 a month before me and they were certified in about two weeks.
im sure i followed all the guidelines and my receipts really and map i provided show the trail well because i rode with a harley and we had to stop every 160 miles for gas :( so my question is should i just wait it out or do you think i should contact the association?) i know they do this in their spare time and i dont want to make more work for anyone. maybe im just too anxious!

just a little on the ride: left santa clarita ca. at 5am rode to salt lake city ut. made a left and went to winnamucca nv. for a stopover caught 6 hrs sleep got a witness and receipts, took off at 3am and rode into reno nv. took another left and rode down 395 to mojave for the home stretch arrived back in santa clarita at 3pm. ride time 28 hrs. sleep 6 hrs. overall time 34 hrs. total miles 1652 :04biker:

I don't think it'll hurt to send a letter asking if they got your package

GONGRATS ON YOUR RIDE! That's awesome!

Some times it takes a while. The first sign will be the check you sent them will clear your bank... even then it can be a couple / few weeks for the cert to show up. My BBG & B2B insanity took longer to certify than my ss1ks. Maybe they look at the extreme rides a little closer? I sent my Same State Saddle Sore 1k paper work in 6 weeks ago & have not heard anything yet.. maybe it's just their busy time.

thanks for the advise everyone. now that i know they do these in batches and knowing that so many people do this at that time of year i think ill just kick back another couple of weeks then ill send a note if i dont hear anything by then. i was reluctant to post anything because if i didnt get certified i didnt want to look like i was shootin off my mouth:D i can say one thing though they dont call it a bun burner for nothing and thats with my sargent and alaska leather ;)

Patience sir. They are a busy bunch. It will come you just have to give it some time. I'm pretty sure I won't see anything on my ride attempts until late fall from May.
