Well it's tire time again. I have 16000 miles on the '05 ST. Just pulled the rear wheel. When I spin the bearings on both sides, they feel smooth.

Think I can wait till 24000 miles to replace the dampers and rear bearings? (I do have the dampers and bearings "in stock") Don't mind doing maintenance, but don't want to do unnessary stuff either.

Thanks. Everything seems tight and smooth, so I'll wait till next tire change. New Pilot Roads! Can't wait to see how they compare to the BT20's.

There should be no reason to touch the dampers so early. Leave the bearings alone if they are smooth.

I now have over 7k miles on my Pilot Roads. I can hardly wait to go back to the oem Bridgestone BT020's. Good luck.

I changed rubbers at 47K and it was not an "Oh WOW" event. A bit tighter driveline but no big deal. They are cheap enuff tho' :p:

Interesting. I had BT20's on my FZ1 and they sucked much more than on the ST. The Pilot Roads on the FZ1 were a dramatic improvement in conering confidence and grip. Will be interesting to see on the ST.
