Having just sold off my CB750 that I had installed a header and really liked the sound I havent seen anything on this site for aftermarket exhaust systems. Anybody have one or know anything about them. Maybe it's just the style of the bike that makes them less popular?

There are two slip-on's available. Staintunes and Two Brothers. The Staintunes are 100% stainless steel. The Two Bro's come in different sizes and materials look here: http://tinyurl.com/42th3

You can look up the Staintunes here: http://www.staintune.com.au/ .

I have heard both and decided on the Staintunes. IMHO I like them better for sound and not requiring any repacking.

Give me a shout if you want some more info.

I haven't put any on yet, probably won't 'til I have a need to replace the stockers, but I have ridden with both around me on ST13's, and far prefer the tone of the 'Tunes to the 2 Bros cans. The 'Tunes seem to just allow a little more natural growl, and 2 Bros have a bit of a funky boy racer tone to me that I found kind of unpleasent, like stay the frig behind me unpleasent. I think Eddie only kept the 2 Bros cans on a week before he got sick of them and sold them. For now, I'm quite happy with the low rpm quiet, and top range growl of my stock Singer units ;)

Just today,I got a chance to hear both..The Staintune owner loves his and I have to agree. It has a sweet low pitched growl with the baffles installed. The 2 Brothers C-2 pipes are louder and have a higher pitch. The owner of the 2 Brother's doesent like the loudness or resonance that occures at highway droning speeds, but likes the sound while running round town.
Since Im in the market for pipes Myself, Im leaning toward the 2 Brothers,C-2 pipes due to their lower cost. Plus I rarely highway run and I actually like the sound of a loud pipe. Makes me realize Im riding a motorcycle, but Im old school, what do I know.

I prefer the sound of my Two Brothers over the Staintunes.

Do the Staintune pipes allow you to take the baffle out? The ones on my Interceptor do and I like the sound better with them out.

Got 'tunes. Much better than stock. (Of course after shelling out seven bills, I'm probably not going to tell you it stinks!)

I see that TB has two sizes, the C2 (small) and the C5 (bigger). It seems a more fair comparison would be the larger C5's to the Staintunes. The prices and sizes are more on par with each other. Perhaps the tone would be better on the C5's as well. But since the price would be nearly the same, I'd just go for the 'tunes.
