Yeah, believe it or not, same number of years as that marketing extravaganza out west... ;)

Just added a bit more info to the site -
http://www.TexSTOC.com

Should have dinner and shirt info soon. If you haven't booked a room yet for October, get on it!

Email any questions.

I only have one day of vacation left after WesTOC/NatSTOC but that should be enough to at least show up for a day or so.

I noticed a few fellow DFW ST'ers are headed to TexSTOC. Curious about what your plans are (itinerary/route). I'm interested in going, but thought it might be more fun to caravan (or STavan) there. Trying to figure out how many days off to take.

Hmmm! Weren't you involved in the Saturday night DQ run (it's good to run when you're jaywalking in Saturday night traffic) at the 2005 TexSTOC? I checked it out, the nearest DQ isn't right across the highway this time. LOL!!

Mark,
I'm going, but I'm not sure just yet how I'm going to get there. I may take an extra day and head out via the Hill Country, but it all depends on how much vacation I have left. If I am short of time, I'll slab it most of the way.

I'll post my route closer to October and anyone that wants to tag along is more than welcome.

I am planning on attending.
Don't quite yet know my departure date..Probably the morning of the 6th.
Still have to make a Motel Reservation..guess I better not wait too long.

They have 10 rooms left after I booked mine tonight. Here's hoping I have tires left after NatSTOC...

So I'm considering Westoc this year, however I will likely only be able to confirm my plans about a week or two before the event. I'm not adverse to camping so I'm thinking that accomodations likely won't be a problem, but how late can one register for the banquet, etc.?

Reg, check out http://www.stocrallies.com/westoc11/register.html

If I read it correctly, you can register for the banquet when you get there.

Hey everyone. Added some info recently about the 'event'.

Updated the Attendees list (still more to add)
Added some photos from 2005 (finally)
Posted info on ordering shirts

If you are interested in getting a shirt, please go to the site and click on the link this week. Need to get the order in soon. Also, thinking of switching to a Polo style short sleeve instead of the long sleeve tee (same price). Will advise, waiting on the outcome of a poll over on the TexSTOC Yahoo group site.

And for those heading down from the N. Texas area, there are basically two ways to get to Ft. Davis, somewhat directly.
> I-20, straight out to around Pecos and make a left (boring but fast)

> US 67, all the way through San Angelo (more scenic but lots of towns)

I usually try taking one different directions, depending on how much time I have and whether or not I can pass thru Midland/Odessa in the dark!

Thanks for the update, Keith. Can't wait for the trip. I'm leaving on Thursday and heading down the Hwy 67 route. Love to have riding partners if anyone's interested.

Where's the TexSTOC yahoo site? Didn't know about it and would like to check it out.

We're looking to return to Dallas area via hill country. Planning on stop in Fredericksburg. Hit some of the 3's. Any suggestion on route back to that area. I'm thinking thru Del Rio via 90 to Brackettvillle then 334/55 to Camp Wood.

We'd welcome any riders to join us.

Likewise, we invite others to join us for the way down. I'm leaving early Friday from Plano. My partner is meeting me west of Fort Worth off I30.

I'm headed down from Dallas on Thursday and planned to come back on Monday. Would love to do the Hill Country route back with you! I'd love to pay a visit to those 3 twisted sisters again.
