No, I mean besides resetting at the battery and noon or midnight.

I've tried single buttons, combinations of buttons, holding them down for lengths of time, everything.

I really don't want to strip her just to set the clock.

You do know that the ignition needs to be on to reset the clock, right?

If it is, you only need to push the hour button to advance the hour, and push the minutes button to advance the minutes.

1 ignition on
2 press RST, min & seconds will show 00
3 press H until desired hour is show
4 press M until desired minute is displayed

Seemed to work for me.

As a matter of fact I did not. Now I can quit needing to subtract 3 hours and 16 minutes to get the proper time. Thanks:banghead:

If it didn't need the key, we'd all find our clocks messed with... wives, kids, strangers and the odd ST-owner who doesn't want his buddy to know that he should have been home 3 hours ago... :-)

Hey, no problem. I think almost every ST1100 owner has gone through that one. :D

Geez, I was so excited I didn't have to do time math any more thanks to Joe and Don that I set the thing an hour ahead and left work early.

Okay, I didn't leave work early, but I did set the damn thing an hour ahead.

The HEAT, yeah that's it.

I have a new tagline now.

I was so hot yesterday (on top of ATG,ATT) while stopped at a train crossing, on an incline that wasn't kickstand appropriate, with a 9 mile train going 7 millimeters a millenium, that I looked over at the dude (I'll call him Biff) in a Volvo with the AC kicked up to Arctic (I can only assume out of misplaced revulsion ) and wanted to kick his :oops::oops: out of spite.

But I'm better now. Wait 'til tomorrow.

Different people have to set their clocks because of what time zone they are in...

For the official time in the US, got to NIST at:

http://nist.time.gov/timezone.cgi?Pacific/d/-8/java

If you are not on the Left Coast, select another time zone.

Enjoy!
