Helmets Panoptyx goggles

Howdy.

Asked this as an add-on to a previous post on the "Intro" forum.

Have Icon Alliance; thinking of switching to open face helmet. Any experience with/pro's or con's re: Panoptx goggles (Velocity model). Will need prescription grind. Thanks in advance for info.

Depending on how tall you are, you may find that the combination of the air flow over the windshield when it's cranked all the way down and an open face helmet may result in the consumption of your local insect life.

I tried a pair, but didn't like them. This was a couple of years ago and things may have changed, but the flimsy foam around the lenses deteriorated pretty quickly and cleaning the lenses was a real hassle. I recently popped for a set of goggles and they work great. Even better seal with some ventilation and I got them for less than $20.
