These are NoT lightweight boots. They are more like hiking boots then lightweight race boots (my prior boots are Sidi's).

But, they are pretty comfy and definately well built. The pics show the outer material, they are indicated as waterproof and look as though they certainly will be.

They have reflective material on the back and sides, which I like. Also have ankle ball guards on both sides. As can be seen, toe shifter protection too.

On the bike they are fine. I was slightly worried they might feel cumbersome. But the laces (which are subsequently hidden by the velcro flap) allow you to tighten the boots quite alot, giving you good control.

Even though they are new, they're pretty flexible. Not sure I'd want to walk around in them all day, but could ride the bike all day no probs.

Size wise seems pretty true, my Sidi's are Euro 43 and these are 9's, seem to be spot on match. They dont come in half sizes btw, kindof bizarre.

I was going to get another pair of Sidi's, but needed something that was waterproof. At this point I would give these a thumbs up.

I too have a pair of these boots. I like 'em! I agree, these are flexible but rugged enough. I also don't want to walk around town in them, so I keep shoes at work to change into.
