OK! Veronica is all packed. Sitting back watching TV and trying to remember every-little-thing... Getting excited. Hope I can sleep tonight, got a long ride tomorrow. First stop for the day will be around Morro Bay. Then Sunday try to get past San Francisco. Then on Monday a liesure ride up the Highway 1 coastal highway to Pacific Giants! I hoping there will be some morning fog in the groves. Will make for some etheral photography. Yummy! I'll take some pics of the ST for ya. I'll be staying around there, probably in Eureka, exploring for a couple of days and then head back. Could be back as early as Friday, or Sunday the latest. Gonna visit Mom on the way back.

I'll try to keep in touch with the forum. I have a Navman Pin 100 Pocket PC with GPS, and it has wireless so I'll try to drop a short note of progress. If not CALL MY WIFE! LOL.

Wow! My first long trip with my new ST! In fact this will be the longest trip ever on a motorcycle! Should be a real trip! Groovy! See ya in the Haight Asbury Free Clinic (remind me to tell you that story sometime...). :cool: :D

Have a great and safe trip. The last time I was in San Fran. was in '69. Our family was on vacation, I was 17 and we watched the first moon landing on T.V. while there. Always wanted to go back but never made it. Maybe someday.

Thanks ST/SV. Its been a long time since I've been in Frisco too! Back in the Hippy days it was a rockin' place. I'm sure some has changed since then. LOL.

I'll be leaving O'side around 7am tomorrow morning.

Last weather check... Looking good. Fog in the mornings, with clearing sunshine in the afternoon. Temp in the high 60's. Winds 5-10mph with 15mph gusts coming out of the West. Perfect! Good night and spat at ya later! :D :06biker:
