I wasn't sure I wanted to try more LEDs after the Superbrights crapped out on me but I saw these at a local AutoZone for $10 and just grabbed them.
They are a cluster of 4 and so far they work very well. I believe I have the 194-HA bulbs, NOT the 194-HAW Wide Angle bulbs. I think the wide angle bulbs would work even better, utilizing the reflector part of the indicator ligths.

Not yet Big Red,,, but,,, very,,, very,,, soon...
I talked to the Main Man/Head Cheese at Electrical Connection at Honda Hoot and they are going to have what you are looking for,,, soon...
Patented LED bulb with LED's on the sides and angle as well as straight back that will take care of brightness from any angle... I need to call him/e-mail him and see how that time line is coming... From Honda Hoot he said it would be 4 to 6 weeks... You ever notice,,, those time lines never come in at 3 1/2???

:) Oh,,, Shoot yes!!! Sorry,,, forgot about this thread...
I have them,,, and like them A LOT!!!
First pic shows the LED on the Left and this is where the LED will be in all pic's comparing it to the standard...
2nd pic shows the LED is brighter but,,, it doesn't really show up well on the pic...
3rd shows it being brighter
Then the 4th shows side view so you can see light comes from every angle with these LED's...
Standard bulb side view...
Redeye ~~~ Come over to the Moonshine Lunch Run and you can not only see my LED's in person,,, you will be the first on "The List" from the UK too!!!:)

The 2nd standing up so you get a better look... The LED's glow RED when on... They of course use LOTS less power and are cool to the touch not like the standard bulbs...

The electricalconection.com site does not show LED pictures which makes difficult to verify correct purchase. Did you have to use resistive load to simulate incandescent bulbs?

Hey George!!!
No,,, not on the tail lights/Brake lights which the ones I installed were...
If you get the LED's in the turn signal,,, you it seems would need something to keep them from flashing weird... But,,, for me??? I was just interested in the Tail Lights/Brake Lights...

Maybe you could ask him why a cowboy wears two spurs. I figure if one side of the horse goes, so does the other.
What makes teflon stick to the pan?
More importantly; why is it that when a man talks dirty to a woman it's sexual harassment, but when a woman talks dirty to a man it's $3.99 a minute?
I'm sure I have more.... And just for your info, don't try calling information, they don't know either and can be quite rude about it.

Terry, forgive me if I asked this question b4, what lights up the license plate now with white light? That was one of the two jobs the dual filiment standard bulbs performed.
Thanks

You did ask Neil but it was on another thread that I did not respond to for like,,, ever as I did not see the question and it got buried in the thread list...
The LED's do glow red,,, instead of white like the standard bulb... I would say that the license plate might not be quit as bright as the standard bulbs in them,,, but really,,, I think it is REAL close... It is more of a red flavored light that is cast on the plate... And,,, unless you get on your knees and look up into the little window that lets the light filter down to be cast onto the plate,,, you have no idea it is a red flavor instead of white...
Where are these availible I can't seem to find them THANKS

Hey Paul,
Yes I got some from here (http://stores.ebay.com/Automotive-Lighting-Strobes). I got replacements for the turn signals, both front (7443) and back (7443), and the brake lights (7443). Unfortunately, the ones for the front turn signals are bigger around than the holes into the lenses, so I would have to trim some plastic to get them in, but the bigger problem is they cause the blink rate to speed up. So even though the flasher is electronic, it still uses the resistance of the filament to detect burned out bulbs and flashes faster with LEDs compared to incandescent bulbs. Now the solution to this is to buy resistors, but these get hot and you don't want to mount them on plastic, so they would have to be mounted on metal somewhere. So for right now, I'm going to replace the brake light bulbs until I can solve the flash rate problem. I've thought about ignoring the flash rate problem, but I'd rather not.

OK, well I finally got around to installing (or trying to install) those LEDs I bought. All 6 of the bulbs I removed have 7443 bases. And all 6 of the ones I took out are 7443 with 2 filaments, even the ones for the rear turn signals which is weird. I looked through out the owner's manual and the service manual and could not find any information on the correct bulb base other than a listing for the wattages.
So I have updated my posting in this thread to indicate the correct base to get. Also if you are looking at using these cylinder type LED bulbs be aware that they won't fit throught the opening in the front turn signal lenses.
Sorry if I caused anyone to order the wrong type. At least you have the satifaction of knowing I did the same thing. :(
