Over Heated ST1100

Yesterday i had an unusual problem ... the bike literally ran out of coolant. I have had a look around the unit and am in the process of putting the coolant back in so as to get it to my dealer.
However i am unable to fill the radiator and it appears the coolant is running out of the rear of the motor. Could it be the hoses running to the head outlet unions????
Can anyone help????

Hi Rex. If you mean it is running out of coolant because the overflow tank is empty, looks like that part of the system is ok because it is sucking in coolant to replace what is being lost from the radiator.

I just did my hoses underneath the carbs, replacing all the orings and seals. I eventually found my problem had been a cracked union. It cost me around $200 all up for the parts, including replacing the thermostat at the same time (if you didn't want to do this it might only cost around $100). It would pay to order all the parts now, but they were in stock. I used plain heater hose for the larger hoses and high pressure EFI hose for the bypass hose.
