I am thinking about getting the Held Steve or Lee Parks gloves. How are these in HOT climates? My current deer skin gloves feel good but no securing snaps/straps.

Thanks

I have rode with the Firstgear Mesh gloves... They are as cool as going without gloves,,, but very good protection... In my wreck,,, they were marked/scared/buffed really good,,, and not a mark on my hands... The Graphite strip over the knuckles look like it was held on a bench grinder...

Don't leave home without great gloves on...

And DO NOT,,, wear bicycle gloves or anything with open fingers!!!

Do this...

When you are ready to ride,,, walk up to a bench grinder and think about holding the weakest coverage point of your gloves onto the grinder for about 4 seconds...

You WILL,,, get better gloves... ;)

I wear a pair of Held "STeve" gloves in temperatures from 50-100 degrees and can say that they are pretty nice gloves. BTW, R L Motorcycles has them on sale right now for I think $105.00.

I've had my Steves for a couple of months, and they did very well by me in the 100-degree weather we had here a few weeks ago. My only gripe is that the paint on the palm rivets is starting to wear a bit in spots and expose what's underneath. (But then again, I always get compliments on how cool my well-worn Olys look...)

Have used Held Steve gloves for a good while now. The are comfortable in the SC summer heat. These got 20.000 miles on them:

I've got a pair of Lee Parks gloves and I really like them. My last golves were a pair of Z-Leathers Deer Traks. I have much more dexterity in the Lee Parks gloves. I can now snap the helmet chinstrap snap on my Arai while moving if I forget before I get underway...that was hard to do with the Z-Leathers.
