I had a guy in a Vette do this to 3 bikes ahead of me and myself there about 5 years ago...

I,,, WAS,,, PISSED!!!

I wipped around,,, caught the guy,,, and when he pulled over at the turn around I pulled right,,, and I mean,,, RIGHT,,, up beside his driver door,,, lowered my voice as I am able to do and asked him if he knew he came 2 feet from hitting a woman Harley rider,,, and some other guy???

He said it was no big deal,,, and for me to,,, Quote,,, "F#$KING Deal with it"...

I turned around,,, backed my bike up 1 inch from his door,,, leaned back,,, and my final words to him was,,,

I am going back to the store,,, follow me if you want your arse kicked,,, or,,, Deal with it...

With that,,, I launched my Concours out of that gravel up there at about 7,000 RPM and others told me later I got about 3 gallon of rocks in his car,,, and square in his face...

I sat at the store for 1 hr and 15 minutes,,, and he didn't show... It was a good thing too... I only get mad for about 8 minutes,,, and it only happens about every 15 years,,, and I wasn't mad anymore and the guy would have probably beaten me like a drum... :rolleyes:

As George points out stupid things like this can and do happen anywhere. But especially anywhere there's a "big attraction" like the gap, which attracts morons like the driver in this vid.

Fortunately there are lots and lots of other routes to take in the surrounding area, many much less well known and traveled. Still and all, ya gotta be careful.
