Here is a link to a review that was done in the Financial Post here in Canada on the BMW. They seem to be quite pleased with the linked front brakes!! Also they compare the HP to the ST, saying it is superiour. What, 2 more HP's!!! However, the windscreen doesn't do it for them.

My old BMW dealer has a K1200GT in stock for $20,385 US with the disclaimer
"*Price, if shown, does not include government fees, taxes, dealer vehicle freight/preparation, dealer document preparation charges or any finance charges (if applicable). Final actual sales price will vary depending on options or accessories selected"
I can get a new ST1300 for ,what, $13,500 ????? More like 8-9,000 US $ difference. It sure as heck better be a LOT better bike than the ST.....
I love BMWs but think I'll keep the ST....

I think I'll ask Rider magazine for investment advice next.

GT has a different ride than the ST. I don't think I would want to be on the GT for long days as I do on the ST. I'd actually compare it more to the VFR than the ST.
Not to mention the enormous price tag that comes with the GT....and the enormous maintanence costs...and the more frequent maintanence...
