MY 2004 ST-1300 has factory installed heated grips. A year ago they stopped working and I can't find the fuse and AI have looked everywhere. The control switch lights up so it is getting power but the grips are cold. Does anyone have the info on exactly where the fuse is located.

If the control panel lights up, it's not the fuse. You've got power to the controls. So either the elements in the grips are burnt out (odd that both would go at the same time) or the output of the control box is fried (most likely).

Installed the factory heated grips about a year ago and remember seeing the fuse and it buried someplace inside the fairing. Most of the left fairing will have to be removed to get to it.

Thanks for that info. I will check and see if I have 12v going to the grips. Do you know if the control unit is made by someone other than Honda.
Thanks

No idea who makes the controller. And I'm largely going on theory of operation here, pretty standard stuff though. So yeah, I'd check for voltage getting to the grips first. You may have to crank the controller all the way up to get close to 12v at the grips. It's probably much less voltage at lower heat settings.
