Hi,
As my fuel gauge runs down through the segments when it gets to the last one it flashes straight away, is this correct/normal, or should it not flash for a short while?.
Cheers,
Martin.
It sounds like it is behaving correctly. Two bars solid then one bar flashing.

what it really means is that you are down to the last 1.3 gallons of gas.......at that point your avg. miles per gallon reading on your display will revert to "how many miles are left before you run out of gas"........please dont run out of gas on these bikes..the fuel pump is located in the secondary tank under the seat and the fuel in that tank is used to keep the pump cool..if you run dry you may burn the pump up if the key is on........Geoff

Cheers Geoff,
If the pump is in the lower tank what makes the buzzing under the top tank when you turn the ignition on ! ?

The fuel pump pressuring up your fuelrail. It stops once the fuel pressure is up. Once your engine starts, the fuel pump starts back up. And yes, its in the low tank.
