Found this link about a "smart" bicycle hemet design from a guy at MIT. I couldn't help but notice he is trying to duplicate some work done by AutoCom and other manufacturers of motorcycling helmet audio gear.
The article mentioned he thought it might sell for about $200. HA! Don't think so sparky!
I suppose some of the features making it more of a wearable computer might be useful.... not sure though. Maybe the feature that cuts the audio when a siren is detected would be good. Or yelling at another driver honks the horn... that would be cool!
