I officially pronounce you the ST-OWNERS FORUM VIDEO DUDE! :bow1:
Looks awesome! In fact you have inspired me so much from your previous videos that I went out yesterday and bought a Canon Elura 100 and am considering getting the Bullet cam setup too! Thanks Video Dude! :D

Really nice setup & shots....but I wonder if it would get old quick, like that Sony super 8 camcorder I bought to take movies of the kids....but rarely used, and absolutely never watched???

...Only limited by your imagination Steve. I agree to a point. That is what editing software is for. Can be really fun cutting and adding effects, music, etc. I hope to produce some really interesting and fun videos in the future with my new camera... Stay posted! I got some ideas!

I can say the fun in all this is the editing. I have been doing this for little over a year now. It dosent get old. I guess if i did it every day it might but every few weeks naaa.. Diffrent riders diffrent roads.. What song do you use what footage goes good with this.. Lots to do in making a 5 minut flick..

I too must chime in! This is a very sweet set-up! Being a professional wedding photographer I must tell you first hand that you have me thinking about a career change! This looks like a blast but I can appreciate the editing time you still must have to put in. Been there done that as they say. I look forward to viewing many more of your videos.

jdog109socal,
Fabulous setup. Would you be willing to publish the specs on the camera and other parts? I might want to make something similar but slightly different.
thanx,

Good stuff. So are the CCD's 1/4" or 1/3"?
When you say AVI input, is that RCA jacks, S-video, Serial port?
I thought I could input to my 8mm Videocam.

Nice setup Jeff, Thank You for publishing the specifics. I sent you an email with some off-line questions...

I agree with Jeff, Steve. It's all a bit subjective to your interest. I've been doing stills for about 45 years, 8/16 mm B&W/Color back in the 70's/80's and video for about 15 years. Mostly action stuff and if it were not for the skills and activities I learned and expereinced along the way I would have been bored with it long ago. Producing the videos can be almost as demanding and interesting as taking the tape.....editing, mixing, overlays, fades, sync's, titling, burning, testing, are all huge time consuming tasks which can make the video special or just another disc. I guess one of the neat things about 'home video" is you get to do it all, from concept to finished DVD. If you like the creative challenge your interest will burn a long time. Otherwise, the camera may very well end up in a closet.
