Congrats on another first, Curt!

You're gonna need a bigger wall for all those certificates...

If I had planned my original SS1K a little differently, I would have done 1K within the state, but I took Rte 2 thru Iron Mountain and Bessemer in the UP instead of staying in the state.

It's always a pleasure to read about your accomplishments and to ride with you.

Godspeed, Curt, Godspeed.

Congrats from a transplanted Cheesehead! Love to know the route you took. I drove at least 1k around Kettle Moraine and Waukesha county when I was a kid...but never in 1 day :)

Here's the route if you have streets and trips and/or mapsource. The route starts in east Milwaukee and does not cross itself. I got a gas receipt at all but two of the pushpins on the route below. Basically got gas at each corner. It was the best 1000 miles I've ever done.

Likewise, Mike.

Congratulations, Curt!!

I imagine those 1k rides are pretty easy for you. I blew my first SS1k attempt. If the weather holds, I'll fix that tomorrow.

Also, congratulations for your promotion to "Waffle Boy"!
