Can some one please tell me how to change the left front turn signal light, I mean how does the lens come off.
Also, my rear brake light only flashes on one side does that mean something with a bulb or is there more to the story. I just got this 04 on Saturday evening. I enjoyed the riding of it too much to worry about the minor repairs.
Thanks

I can't remember if you can unscrew the mirror from underneath it and get access to the bulb.
If not, then
The mirror housing just pops off, I was scared the first time I did it as I wasn't sure if I was going to break it but it will pop off. just pull it back or forward and the pins will release. Just make sure you don't drop it once it pops off.
I'm sure someone here will chime in with the correct procedures.

As Mellow said, just take off the mirror housing. I found the best way is to support it with one hand underneath while you knock it sharply with the other hand. It's held on by three pretty touch 'poppers', so it does take some force. Also, make sure you do catch it because it's attached to the fairing by a short (10 inches or so) cable. The mirror itself stays on the bike and the indicator bulb comes out the housing after twisting it quarter turn.
The brake light is probably just the brake bulb filament gone on one side. To get to this, remove the rear mudguard. Two allen bolts from the back and two underneath. Then reach up inside and you'll feel the bulb holders. Again quarter twist and they will come out.

So if I understand correct there are no bolts/nuts to take off around the mirror. Just some useful persuassion on some clip holding the whole mirror assembly?

Yes. That's correct. Three clips on each mirror housing to be precise. Soon as you get it off, all will be obvious :)
Wouldn't like to be the board admin trying to unpick this thread :D

You understand ONLY partly. The cover which contains the turn signal light pops off and on. The mirror stays in place when the cover is popped off.

I don't think this resets the ECU, just the BAS itself.
