These mufflers are relatively rare as most opt for stainless. I have had mine now for approx. 10,000 miles are think they are fantastic.

They are super light and never get hot. You can put your hand on the canister after a 300 mile stint in 100 degree weather and, moments later still be able to wipe your butt or order 5 beers by displaying 5 fingers to the waitress!

The sound brings the bike alive yet is not obtrusive during steady state cruising. Great sound during acceleration!

Here is a pic for those that are interested!

I haven't seen any shots of them on a bike, looks nice. Thanks for the comments and pictures.

Those do look sweet! But thinking of putting carbon fiber on an ST1300 is a bit like putting 5-inch stiletto's on a fat lady so as to make her appear slimmer.

i'm waiting for tim to see if he can get 'em for me, but i will most likely go with the C2 aluminums or the C5 titaniums as I think the ST looks better with 'metallic looking' pipes as opposed to CF pipes...(personal opinion of course)

I just put them on my black 06 a couple of weeks ago. I love them. Sound great and look great (especially coupled with the black). I guess those who think they are too loud didn't come from over a decade of Harleys. I didn't believe when I read that they don't get hot so, like a kid, I had to touch them after riding. They don't!

The Carbon Fiber set would look best with the black ST. Post a pic if you get a chance.

I also agree regarding the sound. For those of us that have migrated from a cruiser, these things are pretty tame!

Hey Augie, just wanted to say I think they look great. I would only want to do cf on my 05 if I ever did do them. But the expense just isn't there for me.

I have a pic somewhere of an st with cf pipes by yosh I believe, they look great too.
