After the ride in this morning (only 50 degrees, but I'm still in summer mode), I'd vote for a repeat of the heated grips! Brrr!

Pfft......count me in that crowd. I was looking forward to riding in this morning when I turned on the news and I saw the temp was 48 degrees
Which push pins are you guys referring to?

I'm thinking about some mirror deflectors... guess how you could sway my decision on which dealer to purchase from? ;)

Fairing deflectors would be my choice.

Tim,
I have been "on the fence" about the fairing/mirror deflectors. Maybe if the price was extra Special, I will finally make up my mind!!! :D
I'm on the road right now (at FallSTOC in Maryland), but will be back home next week ready to inSTall them!!!!
See ya!

I'll craft up something good by Monday. Heck might as well make it an October special by then :D
But what are the pins everyone's mentioning?

There are three types which are used liberally throughout the bike to secure the cowling:
Push Rivet - 90116-MCS-G00
Splash Clip - 90657-SBO-003
Clip *NH1* - 91549-MWO-790ZA
They normally retail for a whopping $2.50 a pop....many on this forum obtain a similar clip from Lowe's or Home Depot for about .75 cents each.

I'd love to see some great prices on the Shoei RF1000 Helmet. Just bought a bunch of oil filters and such. need a new helmet.

Push Rivet - 90116-MCS-G00 (.62 EA)
Splash Clip - 90657-SBO-003 (1.77 EA)
Clip *NH1* - 91549-MWO-790ZA (2.13 EA)
The best I'll be able to do on the oil filters is 7.49 per, including the drain plug washer. All the prices include shipping, with just a 3.95 handling per order placed.

Heated gear seems like a no-brainer, I'm going to check and see what I can get my hands on. If there's anything you need individually, everyone's always welcome to email me at hondacuraworld@aol.com . If you've found it online, just let me know the lowest price you've found.
