What does the Velcro on the bottom of the Roll-Over bars do?

It just serves as a buffer between the bars and the metal on your bike. In short, it cushions between the two so as to not have direct metal to metal contact. You can remove them if you like, but I'd suggest leaving them on. However, they're your bars, and it's your bike, so you get to decide.

Got my bars today too! They arrived at 3:37 pm. On the bike at 4:07pm!! They look great, I especially like the way you did the welding from the back. Great job!! :bow1:

Received my bars yesterday. They were at my front door when I came in from Jacksonville, FL last night.

I received mine today and got them mounted. You did really nice quality work! Your tip about a quality lube on the ends of the bolts was spot on. Dry, they just didn't want to thread in but with a little white grease, they almost slid in.

I'm going to watch a police motorcycle rodeo tomorrow (those guys really grind metal!) When I leave, I hope I'm not tempted to try the bars out! Thanks - Bob

Thanks to everyone for the kind words. Again, I hope you all never have to put them to use, but they'll be there if and when you ever need them. Thanks again for participating in the group buy, and I'm sure you'll be very satisfied with the bars, especially if you ever have to use them. Now...I just got back in from the International Motorcycle Show in Atlanta, and man do I have a story or two to tell. However, that'll have to wait for another post and not until I get the pictures uploaded to our server. Keep an eye out for full coverage of the show in Atlanta.
