Y'll heard of pipes with no catalytic converter , in place of the stock pipes ?
How can I get a exhaust setup ewth no catalytic converter .
The converter triples the heat and may help make the bike kooler without it.
Are there any after market ones??
Yes , yes I know it may illegal ...
Thanks

I just called them , you are wrong , the staytune is just a slip on the end kinda thing , does not elimate the converter

The Cat is in the stock muffler. When you take them off to put on the Staintunes, you are taking off the cat converter. They run a lot cooler, but do not change the temps from the motor. I have Staintunes, and I got them because I like the looks.

30#s , that would be worth it , every 7 pound loss - means 1 hp gained .

My bike doesn't need more Horsepower. It will exceed every speed limit in the U.S. by enough to get me a FELONY Reckless Driving Award with Jail Time. And it will flat smoke those KIDS in their Honda Civics with there Trash Can Size Mufflers. If it's Too Fast then I guess I'm Too Old.

You might find the attached spreadsheet interesting. I developed it when I started losing weight just to see what kind of difference dropping weight would make. You can substitute the torque number for horsepower if you want to see the effect on torque.
(And as an update on my diet, I've put on 1.9 HP since January.)
