She just got back home and is doing prety well. She ended up with 16stitches, a sprained wrist, black eye, a skinned knee, sore all over. and a slightly dented pride. We ended up being in the ER unti about 1am Sat. morning. then crashed at a nearby Marriott. Our daughter drove down from Phoenix to pick Debbie up and take her back to stay the night with her so I could get the bike back home and be there to pick her up at the airport. I want to thank everyone for their kind words, concern and support. You're all a GREAT group! We hope to see ya all again soon.
Thanks Again,
R & D (aka Rhonda) :biker:

Ron,
Great to hear that Debbie is doing well. We got there just after you left for the hospital. Hope to hook up with the two of you again at the next STOC event. Please let Debbie know that Denise gets back from Iraq next week.

No her name is actually Debbie, on our first ST group ride when we were introducing ourselves there was RonS then me (another Ron) and Beetlejuise quickly said "and I suppose you're "Rhonda" and it stuck. She's stiff this morning and has the look of a Racoon but is in good spirits.

You know those nice squared off parking lot curbs, the little ones that go in the middle of the parking lots, well she slipped and hit her head on one... just the thought of it hurts me.
OUCH!ATGATT??? Even when walking???

Ron and Debbie and Rhonda:)
I am really glad to hear that Debbie is doing ok. What a nasty thing to happen...The only downer in the whole weekend. Well, except maybe the short coffee supply:)
Ron, please pass along our best wishes to Debbie.

Ron and Debbie, I am so glad I got to ride with you from El Centro. I'm glad to hear that Debbie is doing better and healing up. Maybe she will be up for another try for CrestSTOC. We'll see how that event unfolds in the near future.
It seems that solo riders are the rule and us 2 up teams are in the minority. I saw more duos at DesertSTOC than in all my other rides put together. I hope it's an upward trend; it's good when my wife has other women to talk to when we arrive, it makes her feel more at home.

Actually that is a PBY-5A that I used to fly. That shot was a takeoff at Lake Havasu, AZ while filming for the series Test Pilot aired on A&E.
Dana we're hoping to see you and Vicki at CreSTSToc.
Thanks again everyone! You all rock!
