Loose Bar Ends

I have about 90 miles on my new bike '05 ST1300. :biker:

Here is my question or concern. . .I was riding this morning and noticed that both of the metal bar ends are loose. By loose I mean I can turn them and even bend them down a bit. Is this normal. I am still waiting on the service manual to arrive. :biker:

They should be tight.. I lost one on the wing a couple weeks ago.. make sure you take the screw out and put some loctite on it.

It may be that the bolts have sheared, it happened on my left weight.

Cheap and easy to replace, apparantly it is quite common, well so I am told by my Stealer!
