All,

Regretfully, it appears that Finewest (Fred) will not be available to help organize this event. (Please don't email me about his status, as I don't have much information on what is going on - please shoot him emails directly if you feel the need.)

That said, I am "picking up the standard" to try and make this thing happen.

Depending on how one views this (Fortunate or no), the month of April will see me out of work and recovering from sinus surgery. On the plus side, I will have some time to work on this as far as "organizing" goes, however, I won't be able to really make a lot of phone calls, sit for long hours in front of the computer, etc.

Therefore, I'd like to ask for a couple local area volunteers to help me out with this. In return, I'll provide free lodging for the event at my cabin.

Please PM me if you are interested.

Thanks,

Dan

Hopefully, Fred is alright, I shot him and emial.

Don't stress out on this, there are many great people here and I'm sure there will be offers and thanks for taking the bull by the horns.

You have a place/area, you have a date.. .That's pretty much enough for this group - it's already a success.

Thanks Mellow... and you are right about the "great people". I met 10 of them on the ride last week... what a bunch of cool people!!

It's one of the reasons I went with this bike: The community is so awesome!

Anyway, this is going to be a great event. The area is just made for it!

Cheers!

Dan,
1. Don't sweat the small stuff.
2. It's all small stuff.

You got much bigger problems with yur plumbing than you'll ever have with this group.

A. Post dates.
B. Sit back and have a brew.

Dan, you know I've already volunteered, but as is already stated, you have a place, you have a date, you even have planned rides for any interested. A good bit of the work is already done. If you need any specific stuff taken care of, especially while you are down from surgery, fire off a PM and I'll do what I can.

Don't worry, not like a crash or anything like that, just some personal issues that need his attention, like we all have from time to time. He'll be back when time permits. He's Fred afterall, so he won't be MIA for long.

Fred spawned this event in his imagination and then he blew some life into it. I know that Fred would really like this to go off no matter if he is able to join or not.

I wish I was able to reassure you all on what is going on, but it is not my place to do so. I would also like to say that when he does return, the less fuss about the whole thing the better.
