Enjoyed that, thanks.
Had the chance to go to Solvang two years ago....but declined. It's on my list of places to see.

Thanks for the video. I've been through it once this last year but will have to do it again. And again. :)

DANG !!! I've been walking around Solvang for 40 years and never saw this place! Guess I've spent too much time in the bakeries.
I first read about the Guzzi V-8 in the early '60's. Never did I think there was one in this country. Cycle World magazine reported back then that all of them were squirreled away in a warehouse by the factory, never to see the light of day again. I will go to the musuem primarily to see that one.
Where in Solvang is it located?

Here is a link to their home page with directions and all the bikes.

Grew up in Santa Barbara (right over the hill from Solvang) and couldn't remember an MC museum... It opened in 2000... whew! :)
I'll be checking it out the next time I visit my sister (who lives in San Ynez and works in Solvang).
Thanks for the link.

Old Way,
Got it, thanx,
By the way, did you attend or see my pix from the Norton Owners Club show or the Sidecar Rally show?
Not sure, but those posts may have evaporated during the great crash of ought 7.

Sorry Gonzo, I missed it. I'm all about vintage Japanese Bikes and big singles. Those 750 Commandos demanded a lot of respect in the early 70's, I literally smoked a few on my RD350 dragbike back in the day.

Marv: the Guzzi V8 in Solvang is a really faithful reproduction. As far as I know, the rest of the bikes are the real thing.
