I bought a pair of these today and the fit and comfort seems very good to me. I know that a couple of other folks here have these boots and I am wondering how they are in the rain. Any feedback would be appreciated.

Thanks
Brian

Better late than never Brian. I just had to retire my Web's after 18,000 miles. They are fantastic in rain and cold weather. However, you will roast in 90 deg heat. I have gone to the Aerostich Light boot. They are very heavy duty, I can't imagine the thicker/tougher regular model! I will report after 1,000 miles and hopefully they will have broken in by then.

Great boots...very comfortable and have kept my feet dry and toasty. They also seem to breathe reasonably well in warmer weather. I have had mine for about a year and have no complaints.

My wife has those boots, and I have the Oxtar Matrix. They are built with the same material and I would assume at the same factory. Just different soles and emblems. My Oxtars are great, but do tend to warm up a bit in the hotter weather. Overall though I have been very pleased.

I've been wearing them for about 3-4 years now and will probably replace them with the current model whenever the time comes. They've been great!
I've ridden in some real weather with 'em too! My feet have never been wet in those boots and they're quite comfortable off the bike as well. It was money well spent...about $120 at the time, IIRC. Try to keep 'em cleaned up and apply a polish and they're still in good shape after 30 thousand miles.

Cheers,
Tony in Oregon

How do the sizes run. I am still trying to find a waterproof riding boot that fits my 9 1/2 EEEE Fred Flintstone foot.

When I was buying new boots the Alpinestars ran wide,
Wound up getting a pair of SIDI Boots

New Enough (http://www.newenough.com/closeouts/boots/) has all the Oxtar models on closeout. I just bought the short hiking boot, got _shipping_ confirmation in less than 15 minutes.

I hafta ask for a little more info fellas.
So, They run wide I like that. Should I order the size I actually wear or a larger size? I have some spending cash ready to burn.
Also, has anyone had trouble returning items to New Enough if they do not fit?

Thanks
Bigfish

I would go to a local STealer or who ever else sells boots and try on some different brands for fit and comfort, then order thru New Enough.

I purchased a pair of these late this summer, although I have not worn then in real warm weather I a very pleased with them thus far. The european sizing seems to fit me better, a 45 for 11.5
