JUst got the Motocom unit as a present. All of the cables, two headsets and an assortment of adapters for 169.00

InSTall:

Very easy but a little limited. Unit is battery power only on two AA and all the interface cords are hard wired. I placed it in my tank bag and it looks like it will do fine here.

Features:

Intercom is real good. It is full duplex all the time, not vox so the setup is easy. Very clear, good volume using the boom mics on HJC Symax. Front cables are coiled and the back are straight. Ran the passenger set under the edge of the seat and pull them back when I leave the bike. everything else mutes when you or the passenger talk except the Radar detector.

Cell Phone is a little strange but it's from the phone, not the motocomm. Outgoing calls are real clear, voice dial works great, got every number correct. Incoming is auto-answer, one minute you are singing to yourself, next thing you know someone is going "hello" in your head. There is nor ring, just a hollow sound right as it answers. Passenger cannot hear the call, just what you say

Radio is useable by both and each have a PTT switch. I tried it out with a Motorola t60 and it worked just as advertised. volume matching in the unit for each input must be off a little because the volume was lower but it could be another adjustment is needed.

Radar not tested because I don't got a detector yet :(

Music is the big tradeoff from the other units on the market. The built in FM is pretty poor, migh be good for linking to an FM modulator from XM or something but overall it was mostly static even when my Lrya was getting a good signal. The external music port works ok but the unit only sends a blended mono signal to each ear, not stereo and it is noticiable if yo ucare about your music. Motocomm makes another cable for about 30 bucks but now you are up at a basic Starcom price. I am going to try my ear buds with the speakers in my symax but i think ther may be some volume problems with that.

Overall volume is good. not great but there must be some other internal adjustments because the cell phone line can push loud enough to be heard outside the helment but neither of my very lound in headphones music sources could push very much without some distortion.

Overall I am going 8-10 overall with both points off for music, Price, features and other functions are all a 10.

More to come as I play with this thing.
