Just mounted a new Z6 metz

Just mounted a new Z6 metzler on the front of my ST13. The factory mounted dunlop wore out in 6k miles. The wierd thing was it wore out on the sides before the middle wore out. My rear dunlop was changed to a non-oem bridgestone at 4k miles due to a non-fixable puncture. When the bridgestone goes an 880 metz will replace it.

Yes. That combo appears to be the recommended mix (based on the comments from several riders, one of which has 60k+ miles).

All I know for sure is the OEM dunlops sucked for my style of riding.

My 04 has the Bridgestone 020 OEM and I am at 6k without any wear bars yet front or rear. Do they just all of a sudden melt around this mileage or what? I ride mostly one up with a 60-40 highway/ secondary road mix and very high heat most of the time.
