Hi,
I have to take 470 around Denver to add a few miles to my route. I could stop for gas but I don't to get on and off the toll road. Plus there's not a lot out there to pick from, if anything, from what I remember.
Does anyone have a receipt from the toll booths out there? Are the receipts time/date stamped?
Curt
I don't have a receipt, but I have used that tollway and I was amazed at how expensive it was. The 470 was almost empty the two times I have used it, they appear to have priced themselves out of the market.

Curt,
I'm not sure if the receipts are T&D stamped but I cannot imagine that they would not be. I use a transponder for the Express Toll. Here is their toll free number : 1-888-946-3470. Give them a call and I'm sure they can tell you.

Curt,
I have an electronic pass and I get one receipt at the end of each month. All of the individual receipts that they list on my bill give the level of detail that you are looking for (time, date, toll plaza, etc.). I am sure that the individual receipts would have the same information. You can call them at (303) 537-3470 if you want to verify the information.

Thanks everyone. That's what I should do but you never know who you're going to get on the phone. It's almost $10 to run it from N to S on I-25 but I need the extra 14 miles to be safe.
I will probably pay cash at one of the middle tolls and order an ExpressToll Pass to get through the rest of them.
Thanks,
Curt

I can't speak for 470, but on a lot of toll roads with ETC, every lane is capable of reading a transponder. You'd have to get yours into a foil bag before the stop where you want to pay cash and then get it back out.

Good point. Maybe I should just pay cash at them all. I don't care if they charge me twice so long as I get a receipt but they may not if my transponder has already tripped that I paid.

You can always wait for the express pass bill with that info.

I don't really understand the need forreceipts or the concern about stopping, but you can get on and off at the Parker Rd. exit with no additional tolls. There are plenty of amenities around there.
