I posted this opportunity a few weeks ago and got some interested responses and now I can not find the posts. I ordered the Jabco Foam Grip covers that I had read about on Jack Phelps site. Everything he said was exactly right. The grips look great, are extremely easy to install and function like a product costing much more. The only difference between his direction and reality is that Jabco Grips are now sold through a company called Trim-Lok. Trim-Lok does not like to deal with the general public. I had to order three sets of grip covers (they would not sell individual sets). As a result, I have two sets with no home. If you would like one of my sets, please let me know. The sets cost me $8.00 a piece including shipping. Please let me know if you are interested in my grips. I would like to honor the individuals that originally responded if possible. :xmas:

I, too, was having issues because of the small hard grip. I bought a set of Hap Jones foam sleeves at Road Rider in San Jose. They were $2.85. They were 6 1/2" so I had to trim an inch off to fit the ST grip size, but they work great. Road Rider has a web site http://www.roadridermca.com and the part number I bought was 03622.

I have a Paypal account but I have always paid with it, I am not sure how to receive money from it. I would also accept a personal check if you want to go that route. Just let me know and the grips are yours.

Whatever you prefer. I can send money via PayPal by using your email address or if you'd rather I can cut a paper check. Let me know the total, and where to send it. Thanks..

I bought and installed a set on my 2004 ST. They didn't last too long. I thought they would have lasted longer than 6 months. Maybe I am gripping too tight, huh? :a13:
I wore out a couple of sets of (very comfy) Grab-on's and now have a set of (very comfy) BMW sport grips and they will laST a loooong time. They are comfy 'cuz of shape/texture not material. So far these are the only thing BMW I've owned, these are not over engineered but are a bit pricey 8)

I got mine from my (relatively) local BMW dealer. But it was more like $20-25 for the pair. I just made sure I didn't tell the proprietriss that they were going on a Honda - I was afraid she wouldn't sell them to me!
Proprietress?? That would be WeST Valley BMW Jim? On Winnetka St.

That's the place. Sounds like you have a story with respect to them.
I got the impression that if I actually wanted to buy a BMW from them that I would have to prove myself worthy first. :bow1: Although, come to think of it, she did take my money. I went in whit the part numbers on a post it - saying I had looked it up on the 'net. She jokingly asked if I had looked up the price too, which I thought pretty strange 'cuz everyone knows that dealers have their own markup on parts. I'd have said $2.95 ea, but I was sure she would know I was fibbing!

I am sorry. I sent out my last set yesterday. It seems like there is plenty of interest to have someone else order a set of three and distribute the other two sets.
