Slime Powersport Question

Went to try out my brand new Slime powersport tire inflator, and found out what is inside is not what is on the box, exactly... Only the aligator clips and the connectors that stay on the battery all the time, have the fuse attached.. I already have a battery tender lead on the battery so was just going to plug it into that but.. NO FUSE? Is this fuse necessary.. If I swap out the Battery tender one with the slime one (with fuse) will it be ok to stll hook up the battery tender? ( I dont see why not but just checking)

This is what I received with mine, bought at www.cyclegadgets.com
The SAE connector is fused so you can just connect to the Battery tender connector.

yes that is what is shown on the box but that is not what I got...
Hmmm think I'll call the distributer, on monday..
