I've had them for about a month, and really like them.

I'm 5'5" take off your slippers and try standing up :D I go with any gook quality leather boot that covers the ankle. I stopped buying motorcycle boots years ago. A good quality Leather supported work boot will do fine. I do allow synthetics on none critical areas of the boot. Now if you are goning to do track days. Buy a motorcycle boot.

I got the same problem (only 164cm long ~5' 5"?). I'm using boots from the German company "Daytona" called Lady-star GTX (exactly the same as M-star GTX but in a smaller size). I just love how they feel and I think they look pretty good in combination with the bike.
See more info here: http://www.daytona.de/english/boots_e/gore/2_mstargtx.html

Also consider having your seat lowered by Spencer (http://www.st-owners.com/forums/showthread.php?p=220888#post220888) to put your feet closer to the ground. At 5' 7" I can flat foot wearing Oxtar Matrix boots, which are not tall in the sole, with my Spencerized seat. Two thumbs up, two feet down.

I'm 5'7" on a good day with 29" inseam. With the seat in the lowest position I still could not flatfoot the ST. Bought a pair of Redwing 980 motorcycle boots and had the local shoe shop add 3/4" spacer between the sole and the boot. It runs the entire length of the boot which means it raises everything (sole and heel). Can now flatfoot with ease - much better. The driver foot pegs are a little too close with the seat in the low slot, so I ordered the MCL peg lowering brackets. Will see how this works out.

This is a great boot. It adds at least an inch to your height. However, it's rather expensive.
