New M/C Campground! - "Hunt's Lodge" (Tellico Plains, TN)

Hello ST-Owners,

I was surfing through my collected Events and Places bookmarks and was reminded that our very own Jack Hunt, STOC 1870, has been planning/building a motorcycle campground near the (in)famous Deal's Gap and Cherohala Skyway. Well, I pinged Jack and he proudly reports that after a LOT of work, sweat and tears, his dream has come together and "Hunt's Lodge" will soon be open for business!

It looks just great, and what a wonderful location. Jack's a good guy and I wish he and Lori beST of luck in their new enterprise.

The grand opening is scheduled for 4 May, but Jack said they're unofficially open now.

I'm thinking I'll have to spend a night or two at Jack's place this year, probably either just before or after EaSTOC. If you can't patronize our fellow STrider's new business anytime soon, at least send him some good luck wishes; AND let others know about 'Hunt's Lodge'.

Excellent - looks like we have another great choice for EaSTcampSTOC in 2008... not to mention other events.. heck, maybe a HuntSTOC would be good just to help give them some business and show our support.
