Not real familiar with a couple of these roads. Can some of you give advise as to if these roads would be good ones to use on an SS1000/Lake Michigan 1000? Thanks for the help!
I could not figure out how to post it as a picture so hopefully if you have S&T you can open it.

I can't open your attachment, but don't try to ride on MI-25 around the thumb of Michigan, the road contains a lot of vacation homes and some slow spots. Also, starting today, Michigan DOT is starting work on US-23 between Dundee and Milan, down to one lane in both directions.

I will say this after having just completed my first sanctioned SS1000 and not an expert, you need to consider the distance and the time allowed. To finish one in 24 hours you have to average at least 42 mph. To finish in 16 hours you need to average 62.5 mph which is about the max you can go without getting stopped by the law in most places. About the only way to safely finish in 16 hours is to do mostly intersatate (our route was almost exclusively interstate) going about 7mph over the limit.
Remember stops. If you can gas-and-go four or five times you don't need to ride as fast.
State routes that go through a lot of towns and other congested areas will drop your average.
Just a little food for thought

One easy way to post a picture is open your map file, do a screen shot and attach the screen shot.
