When I was taking off my plastic the other day, I broke one of the flat rivets, the ones that hold the maint. door on. Not the ones that stick out so you can grab and pull, the ones you have to push on the center to release them.
I checked casporttouring.com but didn't see them listed, anyone got a good place to get them? I don't want to go to the dealer as they are probably $5 each there LOL, I'd like to buy a few just to have some spares and even mail them to anyone that might need a couple...

I don't know about the ST, but on the VFR you could get the rivets for the body panels from a Saturn dealer. If I remember correctly, they were cheaper than the OEM Honda clips.

Yes, but those are the other types of clips. I need the flat ones that are flush when pushed in. Same ones that hold the black plastic front part of the windshield on the front fairing.

CST does not list the "push-in" style of pins, but that does not mean they don't have them. If they do, it will be your cheapest source. Linc at 2WheelInnovations also claims to stock some, but he wants $5 each or something outrageous. I bought some aftermarket ones at an auto parts store, part number recommended by some folks as the MSN ST13 site. They are too big, and consequently you end up pushing the pin all the way through instead of flush. I'd avoid those at all costs.

May be if they are ever tracked down a group purchase could be made. Might make the price lower also instead of every body on there own looking for a couple. I know I might not mind having a couple spares around.

I just spoke with Jose at casporttouring.com and as soon as Kim gets back there going to quote me a price on a lot of 50 then I'll just buy them and as guys need them mail them off and the volume price.
After taking the plastic off a few times I think these suckers are going to break and just having 2 or 3 spares would be nice.
I'll let you know what I find out.

I've been getting hardware and other spare OEM parts through www.servicehonda.com. You have to know the part number to order online, but I think I paid .33/each for a 5 pack of plastic rivets awhile back.
I've found that they are about 30-50% less than Honda shops on most parts.

Part No: 90116-MCS-G00
Rivet, Push
Forget what I paid but they were probably about a buck a piece.

Jim is correct .62 each and sold inindividually at service honda
Described as Rivet, Push Part number 90116-MCS-G00 (those last two digits are zero zero)
I had my bag-O-parts on my desk.
If anybody needs a silver right side lid to go with the push pins I also have one of those on my desk since I messed up the color code.

Let me second that. Service Honda will sell you the CORRECT part, for a fair price and get em to you in just a few days. The ones I ordered from Cal Sport Touring that they claimed were for the ST were not the correct ones.
